The first step to becoming a padel coach
At M3 Padel Academy, we train coaches with judgment, structure, and a solid foundation. If you want to take your first steps as a padel coach and learn the most successful methodology at the highest level, this is the course for you.
The M3 Assistant Coach L1 is the introductory course to M3 Padel Academy’s methodology, designed for players and instructors who want to begin their journey as coaches.
This is an intensive, in-person training where you will learn the fundamentals of padel, how to structure training sessions, and the correct way to apply the M3 method on the court.
During the course, you will work on:
Game fundamentals and basic technique
Organization of training sessions
M3 methodology applied to padel
Key concepts of gameplay and positioning
The role of the coach and communication with players
Evaluation system
Assistant coach evaluation
Starting from the April 24-25, 2026 course, the M3 Assistant Coach L1 incorporates a basic evaluation system to guarantee a minimum standard of level.
Feeding exam
- Depth and direction control.
- Ability to feed in a regular and functional way.
- Game exam
- Basic understanding of the game.
- Positioning and decision-making.
- Application of the concepts worked on.
Minimum level required
To pass the course, it will be necessary to demonstrate an approximate level of:
- Level 2,5 – 3 on Playtomic
This level is not a requirement to register, but it is the estimated level to pass the final evaluation.
¿And what if you don´t pass the evaluation?
Nothing happens. At M3, we understand training as a process:
You will be able to repeat the exam in person in another call (at no additional cost) or you will be able to send videos to receive an online evaluation.
The first online recovery evaluation through the sending of videos will be free, receiving personalized feedback.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is the instructor course taught in English?
The course is taught in spanish, but if you would like to do it in english, we will assign you a trainer who is fluent in english who will accompany you throughout both days.
You must request this at the time of booking the course.
Is the padel instructor course approved?
When you finish the Assistant Coach L1 course you receive a Certificate of Achievement issued by M3 Padel Academy. This certificate recognizes your attendance to the classroom part of the course and successful completion of the online part, but it is not a recognized qualification.
You also gain access to the M3 job vacancies which are in great demand by Clubs all over the world
Do I need previous training as a padel instructor to take the course?
No, it is not necesary to have experience as a padel intructor. What is recommended is that you have an acceptable level of padel so you can take advantage of everything that you are going to learn in this padel instructor course.
Is a minimum level required to take the course?
There is no specific level required to enroll in the course. However, to successfully complete it, you will need to demonstrate an approximate playing level of Playtomic Level 2.5–3.
What happens if I don’t pass the exam evaluation?
You will have the opportunity to be re-evaluated at no additional cost. The recovery evaluation can be completed either in person at another Assistant Coach L1 course date, or online by submitting videos that will be reviewed. You will receive personalized feedback on your performance.
The first video submission is free. If further attempts are required, each additional submission will have a cost of €50.
